Re-organizing

Just found out that on March 1 of this year the front office staff thru out the company I work have a new dress code. We are to go "Business Casual". I worked at this company for a long time and everyone had dressed very casual. I believe that it is a good move but now I have to go buy me some "Business Casual " clothes LOL! ! ! I have not gone out and bought decent clothes for me in a very long long time. I went and had to look for dress shoes. Oh my what a chore that was. But I did buy me some Clark's shoes, a little pricey but the should last a while (I am hoping). Next on the list was pants. that was another chore, finding pants that fit since I have long legs. I did buy 2 pair though YAHOO ! ! Well until I got home. Had to re-arrange my whole room and closet just to hang my new pants in the closet, but now I have room to hang my new pants and my new tops. Am so ready for March ! ! ! ! ! Moral of this story - I can never buy anything without having to re-arrange my whole room or house LO ! ! !But now my room is clean, dusted, and vacuumed. Oh along with this my vacuum kicked the bucket and had to buy a new vacuum.

Retaining Wall Finish

The second day the kids only worked about 2 1/2 hours and my retaining wall was finished. Boy did it make a BIG difference with the alley and the appearance of my house.

The next step was to wait for the kids to come and put up my new retaining wall. The kids were from WUSTL (Washington University St Louis MO) The University has a Habitat for Humanity Program and the kids came to work on my retaining wall :)

It has been . . .

A while since my last post. No excuses but . . . . I have been busy with company, then the Holidays, work, the girls (Precious & Girlfriend, my doggies), and running errands on my days off. The girls are having their Spa day today and will be picking them up shortly. While the doggies are not here this will be a good time to clean the living room/kitchen area (sweep/mop etc) and to do laundry. Later today I will try and post some pics of my new retaining wall. It is very cold out today. This morning it was 15*. It has warmed up to 22*. Still too darn cold for me. Where is Spring and Summer at? I hope they get here soon. LOL ! ! Stay warm ! ! !
